Cairo Exit opening Cinéma Arabe

Thursday May 26, Cinéma Arabe kicks off with the Dutch premiere of Cairo Exit in the presence of filmmaker Hesham Issawi. Cairo Exit tells a love story between a Christian girl and a muslim boy in a poor Cairo suburb. A sensitive subject for the Egyptian authorities, who refused to give permission for shooting and banned the film.
