LaZiz: Cinéma Arabe Afterparty
Published on: Woensdag 18 mei 2011
Saturday May 28, Cinéma Arabe will be floating between East and West; with the screening of Transit Cities, a film about a Jordanese woman who returns to her home country after a long stay in the United States; and with the very contageous musical crossover by LaZiz.
In colloquial Egyptian Arabic, laziz means “tasty” or “delicious” and that is exactly what the DJ’s and VJ’s of LaZiz want to make: a tasteful mix of music and images from the Middle East, groovy North African music, and cheerful sounds from the West.
The Cinéma Arabe Afterparty is a special edition of Rialto Laat. Admission is free for everyone with a ticket for Transit Cities or one of the other films in the festival programme, so keep your ticket and don’t miss this sparkling party!
